Offset Gatefold Gift Card Holder

A few weeks ago, my friend and stamping buddy, Jeanie Stark started a fun weekly challenge called Mystery Monday. The idea is to follow the clues to create a fun fold card. Here is my first mystery card…

Today’s card is a spin-off from this card. I decided to step it up a bit and add a pocket to hold a gift card.

Measurements

  • Basic White Card Base: 4 1/4 x 11, scored at 1 7/8 and 7 3/8
  • Front Panels (cut 3 of each) – Colored Cardstock: 1 3/4 x 4 1/8, DSP: 1 5/8 x 4
  • Inside Center Panel – Colored Cardstock: 4 x 5 1/4, Basic White: 3 3/4 x 5
  • Inside Pocket – Colored Cardstock: 3 1/2 x 2 3/8, DSP: 3 3/8 x 2 1/4

Details

Create the three front panels by layering the colored cardstock and DSP and adhere to the front panels.

To embellish the front, I stamped the sentiment, from the Hugs for Love stamp set and punched it with the To the Point Label. Glue the label to the left panel making sure it overlaps to the right panel.

To create the gift card pocket, layer the colored cardstock and DSP. Using a 1″ circle punch, create the notch. Adhere to the inside left panel.

The center panel is stamped with a sentiment from the Country Birdhouse stamp set.

I really like this fun fold and think it makes for a nice gift card holder. So much so that I made another one that I’ll share with you tomorrow!

As always, I appreciate that you’ve taken the time to stop by today…thank you!

Take care,

Rosanne
