Creating Coast to Coast for Halloween

It’s time for another cross country trip with Karen Hallam and myself. This month, Karen in California chose our theme…Halloween. So let’s take a look at Karen’s adorable card. I’m pretty sure this card will be going to one of Karen’s adorable, young grandsons. Look at that sweet little trick-or-treating piggy!

I’ll be sending my card to another of my adult daughters, so I went with a more “mature” but not too spooky card.

I used the Fright Night Bundle along with dies from the Peaceful Garden dies. They really worked well together here. The main image is stamped in Versamark ink and heat embossed with black embossing powder. I then sponged it with Garden Green ink.

The inside sentiment is from a Hero Arts stamp set.

If you haven’t come here from Karen’s blog, please head West to get all the details on her sweet card. Thanks for joining us on our monthly creating adventure. We hope to see you again in November.

Take care,

Rosanne

  1. Very fun, Rosanne! Is that some old orange glimmer paper behind the Fright Night stamp? I think I may still have some! And I hadn’t thought about using the Peace dies with it. Thanks for the great ideas!

  2. Love the way you blended the green. It really pops with the black!
    Fun Halloween card!!!
