I noticed an arched window die online recently and was half tempted to purchase it until I realized I could easily re-create the window using SU’s Everyday Arches, so that’s what I did!
I began with a card base of Early Espresso card stock and added brick patterned paper from my stash. To create the window, I cut an arch from Early Espresso and then cut the next smallest arch using a patterned from SU’s retired All About Autumn DSP, creating the pretty fall scene. Then I cut an 1/8″ strip of Early Espresso card stock to create the “panes” on the top of the window. First putting one horizontally across and then placing one vertically in the center and spacing the two on either side. I’m glad I didn’t purchase that die!!
The sentiment, from Sunny Studios Autumn Greetings stamp set, is stamped directly onto the DSP in Early Espresso ink. I’ve been doing more of that direct stamping lately and like the look.

The inside sentiment is from Simon Says Stamps November 2025 Card Kit, Give Thanks and is also stamped in Early Espresso ink.
I’m playing along with the Paper Players Color Challenge….

Have a wonderful day!

That brick wall and arched window are fantastic for framing the view. Love what you’ve done with the colours here but especially I love your creative adaptation of Everyday Arches… I wish I’d thought of doing that! Beautiful card, Roseanne. Thank you for making my colours shine this week at The Paper Players. 🙂

Thank you, Candy! I agree…I have a few paper pads with “outdoor” theme that would work well.
