Tri-fold Accordion Thanksgiving Card – #TTTC282

Are you ready for another Tic Tac Toe Thursday? Today’s challenge board is brought to you by my fellow teammate, Betty and it’s full of seasonal and non-seasonal elements to inspire you.

Since I find myself being a seasonal stamper more and more, I decided to check off another Thanksgiving card from my list.

I chose to go two ways here: First row across: Leaves, Enamel Dots/Sequins, Fun Fold and Middle column down: Enamel Dots/Sequins, Free, Fall Colors

Let’s begin with the layout. Again, my inspiration came from playing along with Jeanie Stark’s Mystery Monday Fun Fold series. This fold was from a few weeks back and all the details and instructions can be found on her blog HERE. The card has several folds but fits nicely in an A2 envelope as shown above.

Here’s a look at the first fold. I used SU’s Gathering Together Designer Series Paper along with Gold Foil and Early Espresso card stock. The image on the front is from a Power Poppy stamp set, Feeling Fall. As I mentioned before, I have several Power Poppy stamp sets in my stash that remain favorites and see ink quite often…they are just that good! The sentiment is from the September 2025 Paper Pumpkin kit.

And here’s the fully opened card…

If you’ve been around Stampin’ Up! for as long as I have, you may recognize the inside sentiment. It’s from the long, long retired, Day of Gratitude stamp set. Again, some sets are just too good to let go or not to use. I’m finding that I have the most fun creating when I give myself the liberty to use whatever is in my craft collection. And for me, this hobby is all about sharing and having fun!

I hope that you’ll find the challenge board inspirational and dig into your stash to create a project to share with us at the Tic Tac Toe Challenge this week.

Take care,

Rosanne

Clean & Simple Stenciled Thanksgiving Card

I recently purchased Simon Says Stamps November Card Kit called Giving Thanks. This kit is full of so many awesome and useful products. You can see the details on the Simon Says Stamps website. I used the stamp set and coordinating dies on the sentiment. I’m looking forward to creating more with this kit.

The stenciled panel was created using Lawn Fawn’s Leaves Background Stencils. I stenciled a 6 x 6 piece of Very Vanilla card stock so I would have enough to use on the inside of the card and the envelope.

The inside sentiment is also from the card kit. I think the font is wonderful!

Delivering Tricks & Treats for Halloween

Happy Monday! I hope you enjoyed a fabulous Fall weekend. We had spectacular weather here in PA this weekend and enjoyed some well spent time with our grandsons. My card today kind of relates to what we did this weekend. I’ll share that at the end of the post.

But for now, let’s get on with the card.

I created this fun Halloween card for my grandsons, who love trains and of course, Halloween, too. I used Pretty Pink Posh’s Halloween Train stamp set and coordinating dies. I love the cute images in this set. The train is colored with a combination of Copic and SU Blends markers. I also ink blended white card stock before adhering the train to the card front. I got a little heavy-handed with the brown “dirt” on the railroad tracks. After blending, I embossed the top part with a stars embossing folder.

The inside sentiment is from SU’s Words for the Seasons stamp set.

I’m playing along with the Sunday Stamps sketch challenge HERE.

On Saturday, we took a ride on the Strasburg Railroad in Lancaster County, PA with Emily and the boys. Jack and Luke love to ride this train and do it quite a bit, so it was nice to catch a ride with them.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a good week ahead.

Traditions of Christmas Explosion Fun Fold Card

Happy Fun Fold Friday! The post title gives you an idea of the type of fun fold…and it’s explosive!! This one was surprisingly easy not to mention a lot of fun. As always, my inspiration comes from Jeanie Stark’s Mystery Monday Fun Fold series. You can get all the instructions and details on Jeanie’s Blog HERE.

So here’s what I came up with…

I honestly don’t think I’ve seen any cards made from the Traditions of Christmas Designer Series paper that are not simply beautiful. This paper does all the heavy lifting on any card. I used the dies from the Christmas Greenery dies to cut the floral images from the DSP. It’s hard to tell from the photo that I hand cut some of the small flowers to layer for some dimension.

And here is the explosive inside…how fun will it be to open it up!

The top sentiment is from the Words of the Season stamp set and the bottom sentiment is from the Jolly Delivery stamp set. Both are stamped in Versa-mark with Gold embossing powder.

I’m excited to make a few more of these cards for a few other occasions. They are that fun to make. I hope you’ll head over to see Jeanie’s cards and details.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you have an enjoyable weekend!

Take care,

Rosanne
