This week’s the Pals have a color challenge with a wonderful color combination that to me screams summertime. Maybe it has to do with the fact that two of the colors are named after a summertime fruit and vegetable. Here are the colors we had to “work” with.
This card came together very simply and easily. While the polka dot DSP makes the card so cheerful, the flower, stamped, punched and fussy cut from the Crazy About You stamp set makes it POP! The sentiment from the Tin of Cards stamp set is the perfect saying and font for a fun card.
Along with a coordinating stamp on the inside of the card as well as on the front of the envelope, this is a perfect card to brighten a special someone’s day.
This card is going to someone very special to me, my youngest daughter, Emily.
Emily is a Teacher for the Blind during the school year and in the summer is the Camp Director at the Helen Diller Vacation Home for Blind Children in Avalon, NJ. She is so dedicated to children with vision impairments and although she works tirelessly all year long, finds so much JOY in her work! Needless to say, we are so very proud of her! Here she is with one of her campers.
Thanks so much for looking in on my project and please stop by again soon and have a wonderful weekend.
