Hello…even though it’s a cold, damp February day, I have a cheerful, sunny card for you. Daisies always make me smile and I hope this card will make you smile too….
When choosing the color scheme for this card, I wanted to go with colors that I had three graduated shades. That ended up being So Saffron, Daffodil Delight and Crushed Curry. Creating the daises was so easy using the small Daisy Punch from Stampin’ Up! I stamped three of each color and layered them. The centers are a circle punched in Early Espresso and a retired Glitter Dot. The leaves were cut in vellum and colored with Pear Pizzazz ink.
I pulled out a couple of retired pieces of Daffodil Delight DSP patterns and used a scalloped rectangle die to mount the daisies. The sentiment is from an Altenew set.
I had a lot of fun with this layout and will probably try it in a few other colors. I think I have the colors I need to make a pink one and maybe a purple one.
Thanks for checking in on my project today and I hope the rest of your week is sunny and bright!
Take care,
Rosanne
Love this daisy card. Thank you
Thank you, Clara!
Love your card, it’s beautiful! So sunny and cheerful!
Thanks very much, Rosemary!
My best friend loves daisy and her birthday is coming up. I am going to case for her! I love that trend of verses on small tags and very basic. Will have to check out SU to see if any new ones have come out. Don’t think so, so thanks for the referral to Altenew. Great card that brings a smile to my face.
Thank You Nancy!
I love this card! I want to make one just like yours but I only have the large daisy punch. I will have to make some changes in the layout.
You are very talented. Thank you for sharing your talents.
Stay safe,
Rosemarie
Thank you, Rosemarie! Let me know if you would like me to send you some punched daisies…I’d be happy to!
I just noticed that you use 3 punched daisies when creating these beautiful cards. It makes quite a difference from just using 2 daisies. Thanks for sharing your creative cards! I love daisies and will try the three layers on the next card I make.
Hi Glenda…I also love daisies! And almost always use 3 layers of daisies, even when just using one size. Thanks for your comment.
