Happy Monday! I hope you had an enjoyable weekend. I appreciate Summer weekends so much more now that things are returning to normal. I’m not even complaining about the heatwave we’re having here in PA!
Today I’m sharing a set of mini slimline Thinking of You cards. I’ve been sending more of this type of card lately just for no reason other than that I really enjoy making them and hope they’ll be a little unexpected surprise to brighten someone’s day. I’m also sending these to those who order from me this month instead of a traditional thank you.

Balmy Blue

So Saffron
Details
- Glue the DSP to the bottom half of the card.
- Glue Basic Black strip directly above the DSP and then glue the colored card stock strip directly below the black strip.

Pale Papaya
- Stamp the sentiment, from the Pansy Patch stamp set on the right hand side above the black strip.

Highland Heather
- Using the Pierced Blooms dies, cut flowers and leaves and arranged on the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I absolutely love these dies!

Petal Pink
I really enjoy creating sets using different colors. Stampin’ Up!’s colors are so beautiful that I never have a problem coming up with pretty combinations. It’s actually the opposite; after creating one set, I want to other colors. Since for this set, I used soft pastel colors, I’m thinking a set in brighter bolder colors would look good also. Perhaps I’ll be creating another set 😉 ! Do you have a favorite color in this set?

The January – June Mini Catalog retires this week on the 30th. Some of the products from this catalog are even discounted. Click HERE to see the list.
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope it’s the beginning of a wonderful week for you!
Take care,
Rosanne

Beautiful set!!! Balmy Blue is my fave!
I really enjoy following you on your blog, Rosanne. Thanks much for sharing your great ideas and creativity! Are you able to find ready made envelopes in a size that works for the cards in this post or do you make the envelopes yourself?
Beautiful card!! What size envelope would this fit into? Thanks so much!
So pretty. I missed this sentiment, I guess I need to get the pansy set after all and the dies you used has been on my wish list for awhile. I keep talking myself out of them as well as the pansy stamp set. I need to make a bunch of cards for the military to send home to friends and family as well as nursing homes and I think these would be great. Thanks for all the great inspiration!
Thanks, Chris! This sentiment is the only stamp I’ve used from the Pansy set so far!
love the layout and the way you took a tiny strip of color to tie into the flowers…what a great way to catch the eye and use scraps. I cased the layout this morning for my Christmas cards, using a die cut of the Wisemen instead of the flowers, merry merlot dotted swiss paper, a scalloped gold strip on ivory.

Thanks, Patti! I would love to see your card. It sounds very pretty!
These cards are so beautiful! I love them and am going to CASE! If I HAD to choose a color it would probably be Highland Heather but all of them are so cute!
Thanks very much, Tracy!
Your cards are so striking. I love the pop of color with the black and white.
Thanks very much, Ann!
