Welcome! I’m sharing a Halloween card featuring an image from a favorite stamp set, Power Poppy’s Feeling Fall. I’ve had this set for several years and love to reach for it this time of year. Somehow it always feels new to me.
I created the layered layout using patterned paper from stash. It’s been pretty eye-opening on how much I’ve been (hoarding) collecting. It’s definitely time to start using it!
The image was stamped with Versa Fine Onyx Black ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. After coloring the image, I fussy cut it and glued it to the smaller panel. The sentiment is also from a old set I purchased at Michael’s. The sentiment is also heat embossed and fussy cut.
Again, I used a very retired Stampin’ Up! set, Monster Munchies, for the inside sentiment.
I’m entering this card in the Paper Players Theme Challenge…
Thanks very much for stopping by today!
Take care,
Rosanne
What a great mix of patterns on your card! Everything is so complementary to show off those fun pumpkins and spooky black cat! And a bonus to use up some of your stash (we all have a stash so you’re in good company!). Thanks for sharing at The Paper Players!
Awesome, Rosanne! I am such a pushover for plaids and checks, so I LOVE the papers you have used. This is a great image. Who can resist a stack of pumpkins and a black cat! Thank you for playing with The Paper Players this week!
