Butterfly Kisses Hello – Tic Tac Toe Challenge #201

The Tic Tac Toe Challenge board is loaded with so many happy elements this week, thanks to Jeanne on Design Team O.  While it should have been a “challenge” it was actually a delight to create for this week’s challenge!  Take a look at the board and I think you’ll agree…

Stampin’ Up! demonstrators are getting excited to see the new annual catalog next week.  And while it is wonderful to see all the new and returning products, it also means letting go of some (a lot) of current favorites.   One of my favorites has been the Butterfly Kisses Designer Series Paper.  This paper is so bright and cheerful and, in my opinion, has just about everything in it to create fun and happy cards…and that’s what I hope I accomplished today with this set.

Butterfly Kisses Hello Card Set - Rosanne Mulhern Heartfelt Stamping

I chose the 3rd column down:  Butterfly, Patterned Paper, Floral

I had so much fun mixing and matching the patterns and coordinating card stock with the hand cut butterflies from the DSP.  The sentiment came from the Pansy Patch stamp set.

And here is a pretty parade of each card…

Each card has the same measurements, which are:

  • Basic White thick card base:  cut at 11″ x 4 1/4′, scored at 5 1/2″
  • Floral DSP pattern: cut at 5 1/2″ x 2″
  • Colored card stock: cut at 5 1/2″ x 1/4″
  • Small DSP strip: cut at 5 1/2″ x 1/2″
  • Sentiment strip: 5/8″ x 3 1/2″

Details

  • Glue the patterns and card stock to the left side of the card base.
  • Hand cut the butterflies from the DSP and adhere to the right side of the card with dimensionals, leaving a space for the sentiment.
  • Stamp the sentiment in Night of Navy ink and flag the end.  I used a small square punch to do this.
  • Adhere the sentiment strip with dimensionals and add a coordinating embellishment dot.  I used some retired ones from my stash.

Please leave a comment on which card is your favorite and I’ll be happy to send one to you if you email me your address at [email protected]

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you’ll pop over to the Tic Tac Toe Challenge and add your own card to the mix.  We would love to see you there!

Take care,

Rosanne
