My inspiration for today’s simply sweet get well card was the color challenge at the Sunday Stamps Weekly challenge. These colors really spoke to me and by happy coincidence, I had pulled the two patterned papers from my stash a while ago but didn’t know what I was going to do with them. Problem solved…

I also had to reach into my stash for a couple of pieces of card stock to match the patterns. The blue probably came from a craft store as it was a 12″ x 12″ piece and the yellow is a textured piece from a DCWV paper pad. This is where having a paper addiction actually comes in handy!

I cut the circles from SU’s Layering Circle dies. The sentiments are both from retired SU sets. The card front sentiment is from Butterfly Gala and is heat embossed in white, And the inside sentiment is from Flourishing Phrases. I usually hang on to sets that have sentiments I know I’ll use over and over and these are two of those.
I recently learned that a friend is in the hospital again and thought this would brighten her day a bit. Although this layout would be great for just about any occasion. I have a few more ideas for it.
Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you have a good one!
Take care,
Rosanne

Hi Rosanne, I like your card very much, especially the colours and design, I am sure your card will help make your friend feel a lot better and knowing you care enough to send it to her. Are there any dimensions or instructions on how you made it please? Cheers and Thankyou, Marilyn,
