My card share today is a sweet friendship card. Besides card making, my other hobbies include cross-stitching and reading. I always have a book in progress and sometimes more than one at a time. Presently, I’m reading two books and listening to another. I guess it may be a borderline obsession…but I’m ok with that. And having worked a lot of years in libraries, it’s needless to say that I also have a lot of like-minded “bookish” friends to send cards to.
I pulled out two favorite book themed sets for my card. The images are from My Favorite Things: Our Story stamp and die set and the sentiments (both outside and inside) are from Mama Elephant’s: Good Reads. The pattern paper is from a 6 x 6 Craft Consortium pad: Bloom and Wild. I also used this paper to “upholster” the comfy arm chair.
Here’s a look inside…

I’m playing along with the Paper Players theme challenge HERE…
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you’re having a nice day! Our weather here in PA is cold but bright and sunny. And here’s Olive after a long brisk walk soaking up the sun and surrounded always by her toys.

Take care,
Rosanne

Oh, Rosanne! Where do I even begin? I love the dog. I love the chair. I love the adorable girl. I love the sentiment. I LOVE it ALL! This is such a sweet card. Some lucky recipient will treasure it for sure! Thank you so much for playing in my Clean and Simple Friendship challenge at The Paper Players this week!
Thanks very much, Ann…this was a fun challenge!
This card is adorable! And so well crafted! Your paper piecing and coloring are over the top! 💕
Thanks, Karen! It was really fun to put together.
How adorable. Looks like I need a couple more stamps for my next set of book club birthdays! Did you get the instructions from me for the magnetic bookmark? I tried to send it but I’m not good at this so who knows where it went. 😜
Hi Sherri…these sets are a lot of fun and would be perfect for your book club friends. I did not get those instructions. Could you possibly email them to me…romulhern@gmail.com. Thank you!
So cute Roseanne – I love the paper-pieced armchair that matches the frame too. Fabulous! Thanks for playing with our CAS friendship challenge over at The Paper Players this week!
Thanks, Joanne!
