Are you ready for Spring? Even though it’s been a relatively mild winter here in SE Pennsylvania, it’s still been winter! But we can see the end. I’ve put away all the winter and winter holiday stamps and papers and brought out my Spring and Easter goodies and I’m looking forward to creating some bright and cheery cards.

I’m starting off with this charming little “deer” from Newton’s Nook Woodland Spring stamp set. Isn’t she darling with her flower crown? I used Copic markers to color the image. The sentiment is from this month’s Paper Pumpkin kit. Even though I’ve had this set for a few years, I never get tired of the adorable images.
HERE is another card I created from this set.
The inspiration for the layout came from this week’s Paper Players sketch challenge HERE…I have to admit that when I first saw the sketch, I was a little intimidated by all the layers but it was really fun to choose the coordinating patterns for each layer. Thanks, Ann Marie!

Thanks for looking in today and I hope you’re looking forward to some warm Spring days ahead.
Take care,
Rosanne

This is beautiful Rosanne – your sweet fawn is certainly ready for spring and I love the colourful plaid background too. Thanks for sharing with us over at The Paper Players this week!
Rosanne, this is so sweet and perfect to celebrate the spring season! Love your mix of patterns and the pop of embossing adds a great pop of texture. I especially love the colors you used to color our deer. Such a happy card! Thanks so much for playing along with my sketch this week over at The Paper Players!
