Today, I have a pretty set of cards that came together fairly quickly. All it took was cutting strips of DSP and cardstock in various width and adhering them to a white card base. All the measurements are listed below. Even the flower embellishments are cut from the DSP.
The Floral Impressions Designer Series paper is one of the prettiest papers available, in my opinion! You can find it in the Online Exclusives HERE.

Here’s a peek inside…

Measurements…
- Thick Basic White Card Base: A2 cards 4 1/4 x 5 1/2
- Misty Moonlight layer: 4 1/8 x 5 3/8
- Basic White cardstock: 4 x 5 1/4
- Floral Impressions DSP (floral pattern): 3/4 wide – the length will depend on how you position the strip
- Floral Impressions DSP (Fresh Freesia pattern): 1/2 wide
- Misty Moonlight cardstock: 1/8 wide
Details…
Glue the Misty Moonlight layer to the card base.
After cutting the strips, determine where you want to position the longest strip leaving room on each side for more strips and glue it to the 4 x 5 1/4 Basic White layer.
Continue gluing strips until you have the desired pattern. Be sure to leave enough room to stamp the sentiment. Trim the edges.
Stamp the sentiment. Then glue to the Misty Moonlight card base.
Cut flower image from the DSP and adhere. Add a gem to the center of the flower.
Glue the card front to the card base.
I think the photos can give you an idea of the assembly.

I’m looking forward to trying this layout with other Designer Series Paper patterns. I think it would be perfect for a masculine card with the right patterns…gotta look into that!
I’m playing along with the As You See It Challenge HERE.

Thanks for checking in today. Hope your Wednesday is wonderful!
Take care,
Rosanne
