Today’s card was inspired by the Paper Players Sketch Challenge. I’ve missed playing along with this challenge and was happy to join today. Here’s the sketch…
After creating my first Christmas card of the year using the new Traditions of Christmas Designer Series Paper last week, I’m very excited about creating more with this beautiful suite. You can see that card HERE. And here is today’s card.
The Cherry Cobbler card base is a standard A2 card. The panels are gold foil and a pattern from the DSP. The sentiment, from the Bauble Blooms stamp set, is stamped on a die from the Everyday Arches and is matted on a two more arches and glued directly to the card front. The beautiful floral image is cut from the DSP using the coordinating Christmas Greenery dies and popped with dimensionals. Lastly, a few Flower Accents add the finishing touch.

This was a fun card to make and I look forward to making many more with this suite.

Absolutely stunning, Rosanne! Gold paired with Cherry Cobbler is so elegant. The arches are a beautiful backdrop for the sentiment. The flowers are gorgeous. If I received this card, I would frame it. I am so glad you played with The Paper Players this week!

Roseanne, red and gold are the perfect color combo for Christmas and the added touch of the arches creates a wonderful soft feel. I also love the cluster of florals at the bottom. Wonderful take on our sketch this week. So glad you joined us at the Paper Players

A truly elegant card! Is it a gatefold? I know it took time to assemble the card but the simplicity of the design is so lovely.
Thanks for the kind comment, Judy! This is not a gatefold, just a regular A2 side fold with two vertical panels on the front.
