Happy New Year! I hope you had a wonderful holiday season and are looking forward to the New Year. I was very quiet during the month of December and felt like I needed a bit of a reset…more on that at the end of the post. While resetting, I cleaned and purged my craft area. So with more space and less “stuff”, I’m ready to get back at it! I thought the perfect post to start 2026 would be to participate in Jeanie Stark’s new year of Mystery Monday Fun Fold challenge. You can get the details for the newest challenge on Jeanie’s blog HERE.
Here’s my version of the Pillar Fun Fold card…

I love a seasonal card so I created a winter card using the SU Nests of Winter Designer Series Paper. I really like this paper. It just gives me a quiet and serene feeling.
Let’s take a look at the rest of the card…this photo shows the “pillar” aspect of the fold.

Here is the back of the card…the sentiment on the front and back of the card is from the Hello Winter stamp set from Jaded Blossom stamp company. Isn’t the font fun?

And lastly, this is how the fold fits in an envelope…

As part of my stamping reset that I mentioned above, I finally came to realization that I have way too much product that remains unused or partially used while still purchasing more that will also remain unused or under used. I know this is not something unique to me and that most of us can say the same. I decided to take this year to use many of these products that I purchased because I like them. In this light, I am no longer going to be a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator. I’m sure there will be some new products that I will just HAVE to have but I’m going to give it my best effort to use what I have. So with this, I hope you’ll still enjoy my posts and perhaps find some inspiration to use some of your own somewhat neglected but still awesome products.
Thanks for joining me today and I wish you a very happy start to this new year!
With warm regards,
Rosanne

I love that you are using older products it’s very inspiring
Thanks, Joann! I’m feeling very inspired, too!
I’m doing the same. Being a demonstrator can be busy and it’s just nice to play sometimes.
I’m going to try to use my “ store” of retired products this year. Look forward to your posts. Thankyou
Hi Marilyn! I’m finding using what I have is already inspiring me to stamp more. Good luck with using your retired product. I think you’ll enjoy it!
I love your beautiful card, Rosanne. I like your thinking about using what you have with a few new items from time to time. You are inspiring me to follow your thinking. One of my latest brainstorms is to make 10 Christmas cards each month, so sending 110 won’t be a big hill to climb in the fall. I don’t know if it will work, but it is a goal for 2026 for me. I look forward to seeing your projects this year. Enjoy your day!
Thank you, Hilda! I’m excited about my plan and feeling more inspired to stamp. Wow…110 Christmas cards is a HUGE endeavor. I don’t send that many but I’m going to follow your lead and start to make a few each month.
Oh wow.. I’m right there w/ you. Way too much ” stuff ” is an understatement ! I feel out of control w/ all the unused gorgeous product sitting there. I’m right behind you in your journey ! Your cards are beautiful BTW!
Yay, Ruth…let’s do this journey together! I enjoy seeing your cards on Jeanie’s blog.
I love your take on the mystery challenge! Your cards are always gorgeous and you have inspired us all to use more of what we have!
Thank YOU for all the inspiration!
I was a Demo too but I am in the same process Rosanne. SO much beautiful DSP, so many stamp sets and I’m not getting any younger!! (78 and counting). I wish you the best in your endeavour!!
Hello, Jenny! I’m hearing from a few followers in the same boat as us. You are so right about all the beautiful products that we have collected, so why not enjoy them!
