Mystery Fun Fold: Birthday Easel Card

Here’s this past week’s Mystery Fun Fold from Jeanie Stark , called a Fun Fold Easel card. I’m really please with how this one turned out and how Jeanie’s directions HERE made it easy to make.

Since deciding to (mostly) stamp from stash this year, I’m having a blast pulling out products that I haven’t used in a while or at all. The Build a Gift dies from Pretty Pink Posh is a great example. It was a lot of fun putting these packages together for a birthday card.

Here’s the fold opened up…

The sentiment on the front is from SU’s Sunflower Celebration stamps. It’s heat embossed with white embossing powder and fussy cut. The inside sentiment is from Gina K’s Wreath Builder stamp set.

After creating this card, my head is spinning with more birthday card ideas, as well as, Christmas cards using these dies. I’m also thinking about creating a few Christmas cards on the 25th of each month throughout the year so that I’ll have a good collection by December. I didn’t come up with this idea on my own, however…thanks Hilda Burton for the inspiration! Do you create cards throughout the year or wait until closer to holidays?
