It’s Tic Tac Toe Thursday once again! This week Felicita has a fun challenge board with some unique elements to challenge our creativity…

While I was intrigued by the inking elements, I decided to go a safer route. I chose the middle row across: Tags, Washi Tape, Die Cut Shapes

I’m getting a bit ahead of the game here with a Mother’s Day project, but I only need to make one card/gift for my daughter, Emily and the elements I chose worked well.
If you’ve followed Stampin’ Up! for a long time, you may recognize the die I used to create the bag: Mini Treat Bag die. I really like the older 3D dies and continue to use them. I created the tag on the front of the bag using SU’s Scalloped Tag Topper punch. This punch was also used to create the tag top on the gift card insert. So now for the washi tape and dies…I created the flowers on the front tag and insert using SU’s Extraordinary Floral Washi and coordinating dies.

Measurements for the insert:
Berry Burst cardstock: 6 1/2 x 3 1/2, scored at 2″ to create the pocket
Floral Charm DSP: 4 3/8 x 3 3/8
White cardstock: 3 3/8 x 1 7/8 (for the sentiment)
NOTE: before gluing the DSP to the cardstock, punch the scalloped top and glue in the center of the cardstock to create the tag look. This step is optional but allows for the ribbon embellishment.
Supplies– All SU
Stamps: Layering Leaves (front sentiment), Fancy Phrases, Timeless Tulips
Dies: Mini Treat Bag, Extraordinary Floral
Punch: Scalloped Tag Topper
Patterned Paper: Floral Charm
Card Stock: White, Berry Burst, Blackberry Bliss
Ink: Blackberry Bliss
Embellishment: Berry Burst Enamel Dots
Miscellaneous: Extraordinary Floral Washi Tape
Thanks for checking in and be sure to head over to the Tic Tac Toe Challenge to check out what my teammates created. Also, we would love for you to play along with us.

I love this! I too have that retired bag die! I never get rid of 3D dies as they come in handy for many projects! The DSP is just beautiful and I love how you created the pull out tag with the gift card. I didn’t realize how well the washi tape works with the DSP! Great project!!!
