Celebrating the 4th with CC2C

Welcome back to another cross country creating adventure with Karen Hallam in CA and myself here in PA. This month we’re traveling West to East, so Karen chose our direction. She chose to celebrate our country’s 250th birthday with a patriotic theme. Here’s Karen’s celebratory card…you can head over to Karen’s blog to get all the details HERE.

And here’s what I came up with…

To create this 8″x 3 1/2″ slimline card, I once again turned to my few patriotic stamp sets and dies: the sentiment is stamped and cut from Taylored Expressions, Land That I Love stamp and die set and the buntings are created with Papertrey Ink’s Patriotic dies. For the fence, I used a stamp from SU’s Welcoming Garden Kit which was stamped and fussy cut.

The bunting is strung on a gingham ribbon.

This was a fun collaboration with Karen celebrating our country’s semiquincentennial birthday. Great idea, Karen!

Take care,
Rosanne

  3. Love both patriotic cards. Love your fence with the flags swaged across it. Great design. TFS
