My card is a pretty birthday card inspired by this week’s color challenge by The Paper Players. Color challenges are always just that…a challenge for me.
The colors in this challenge were just so pretty and summery that I had to give it a try. At first look, my first thought was that these colors reminded me of sherbert. That may be because it’s been so hot here and sherbert would be really refreshing. But obviously, that’s not direction I took.
I used a pattern from SU’s Lovely & Beautiful Designer Series Paper collection for a soft and pretty birthday card. The big bloom comes from The Greetery’s Embroidered Blooms dies, which I ink blended with Petal Pink ink.
