CAS Heartfelt Thinking of You

Let’s Get Lost in a Good Book!

Happy Sunday!  I hope you enjoyed a wonderful winter weekend.  We had the perfect snowstorm yesterday…just enough snow to look beautiful but not enough to hamper the roads.  I spent the day with my two grandsons, Jack and Luke.  It’s been a rough couple of weeks as my daughter, Emily (the boys’ mom) and Luke, 7 months old, had Covid.  Thankfully, they’re recovered now and we can spend time together again.  I’ve missed them! Embossed Pretty Pumpkins

Stampin Up Pretty Pumpkins Thanksgiving Card Idea - Rosanne Mulhern

Today I’m sharing a card that includes one on of my favorite techniques: heat resist embossing.  I created this pretty pumpkin background by randomly stamping the pumpkin image from Stampin’ Up!’s Pretty Pumpkin stamp set with Versa Mark ink and heat embossing it with white embossing powder.  Then easily sponging Pumpkin Pie ink onto each pumpkin.  The stem was inked with Old Olive ink.
