Embossed Autumn Greetings for #TTTC280

Welcome to Tic Tac Toe Thursday. It’s my honor to bring you today’s challenge board. It’s full of fun elements that lend themselves to many different interpretations. Let’s take a look…

And here’s my card…

I chose to go two ways. Left side diagonal: Die Cut, Plaid, Layers and also Right column down: Embossing, Pumpkin, Layers

The pretty plaid background pattern is from SU’s Gathering Together Designer Series Paper and is matted on Gold Foil. The embossed pumpkins are from a 3D Embossing Folder from Spellbinders. I love this folder and think it is great for autumn cards. I used the stitched rectangles dies to cut another panel of gold foil and the embossed panel. Lastly, using the Words for the Season dies, I cut the sentiment three times from gold foil and layered it to create dimension before gluing the the embossed panel. I think the result is really pretty.

So that’s my card for the Tic Tac Toe Challenge this week. I hope you’ll head over to the challenge HERE to see what my teammates created and give the challenge board a go and share your project with us. We’d love to see it!

Take Two Tuesday: Gallery Blooms Friendship Cards

I have two pretty cards for you for Take Two Tuesday. I really enjoy trying to use basically the same elements or layout to come up with today’s two similar yet different cards.

Front and center on these cards is the Gallery Blooms bundle along with the coordinating Floral Charm Designer Series Paper.

So let’s take a look at the first card…

The sentiment on this card is from the You Are Remarkable stamp set. The pretty border is created with the Fancy Border dies.

I think by adding the Distressed Title 3D embossing folder really adds a beautiful dimension to this card. The sentiment is stamped and cut from the Wonderful Thoughts bundle.

I’ve listed all the products used on both cards below.

Thanks for joining me today!

Elegant Pine Snowflakes Mystery Fun Fold

After taking last week off as she was recuperating from surgery, Jeanie Stark is back this week with another Mystery Fun Fold. And I feel like I say this each week, but I’ll say it again…this is one of my favorites, maybe even my most favorite.

My card today uses the new Elegant Pine Snowflakes Designer Series Paper. This paper collection is absolutely wonderful. It coordinates with the Delicate Pines dies. I cut all the “pine snowflakes” from this paper for my card.

Look at the unique way the card opens…

After following Jeanie’s concise directions, which you can find HERE, this card was surprisingly easy to create, not to mention a lot of fun. I even have a few more started on my desk! I hope you’ll give this one a try.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a nice weekend.

Birthday Wishes for PP#755

Today’s card is coming to you after quite a struggle. I mentioned before about how I find so much inspiration from playing along with card challenges. One of my favorite challenges to participate in is The Paper Players. However, color challenges always present the biggest challenge for me and I sometimes shy away from them. So when I saw LeAnne’s challenge this week, I took a deep breath and said I WILL make a card for this color challenge! After several failed efforts, this is my card.

I used a variety of current and retired SU products along with sentiments from Gina K.

Here’s a look at the inside…

As you can see with the opened card, the narrow closure becomes the focal point of the closed card.

Thanks for stopping by…

Take care,

Rosanne
