Joyous Wishes – Paper Players #752 Sketch Challenge

Today’s card was inspired by the Paper Players Sketch Challenge. I’ve missed playing along with this challenge and was happy to join today. Here’s the sketch…

After creating my first Christmas card of the year using the new Traditions of Christmas Designer Series Paper last week, I’m very excited about creating more with this beautiful suite. You can see that card HERE. And here is today’s card.

The Cherry Cobbler card base is a standard A2 card. The panels are gold foil and a pattern from the DSP. The sentiment, from the Bauble Blooms stamp set, is stamped on a die from the Everyday Arches and is matted on a two more arches and glued directly to the card front. The beautiful floral image is cut from the DSP using the coordinating Christmas Greenery dies and popped with dimensionals. Lastly, a few Flower Accents add the finishing touch.

Here’s a look inside…

The inside sentiment is from the new Words for the Season stamp set.

This was a fun card to make and I look forward to making many more with this suite.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Take care,

Rosanne

Traditions of Christmas Diamond Flap Fun Fold

Here’s another Mystery Monday Fun Fold for your Friday. Jeanie is hitting it out of the park each and every week with her Fun Folds. I am loving learning all these different folds and have been collecting each one so I can recreate them again.

Each week I say, “this is my favorite”…until the next week!

Today’s card is a preview of so much good to come in the new holiday mini catalog. It features the beautiful Traditions of Christmas Designer Series Paper. The new Christmas Greenery Dies cut the flower images from the DSP.

The sentiment and banner die are from the Traditional Labels stamps and dies.

Here’s a look at the opened card and inside sentiment which is from the Words of the Season stamp set.

Head over to Jeanie’s blog HERE for all directions to create this fun fold. I think you’ll enjoy creating this as much as I did.

I don’t think I’ve created a Christmas card this early but after using the Traditions of Christmas suite of products, I’m going to keep it going!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Take care,

Rosanne

#TTTC 277: Storybook Garden Patch Get Well

I used the Tic Tac Toe Challenge #277 as my inspiration for today’s Get Well card. There’s still plenty of time to join the challenge. Take a look at the challenge board and I’m sure you’ll be inspired as well.

I chose the left side diagonal: Letters, Free, Rectangle Shape

I’m still loving this strawberry pattern from the Storybook Moments Designer Paper. I simply cut a rectangle using the Stitched Rectangles dies on a white panel and added a piece of the DSP behind the panel. Next, I wrapped a piece of Cherry Cobbler ribbon around the white panel before adhering it to the Boho Blue card base.

The sentiment, from the So Sentimental stamp set, is stamped on a Stitched Shape die cut and layered on two circles from the Layering Circles dies. Then glued directly to the card.

The strawberry image is stamped and cut from the Storybook Garden Patch Bundle and colored with blends. I cut two additional strawberry die cuts and layered them on the colored image to create some dimension.

Lastly, I added a few Boho Blue embellishments.

The inside sentiment is from the So Sincere stamp set.

I hope you’ll join the challenge!

Take care,

Rosanne

Fun Fold Friday: Cute as a Bee Diagonal Joy Fold

TGIFun Fold Friday! Today’s fun fold is once again courtesy of Jeanie’s Mystery Monday stamp challenge. I’m learning so many new folds by participating and realizing that most of them come together rather simply. And this card is no exception. The title, diagonal joy fold, seems totally appropriate. As it was a joy to make and it made me joyful as to how it turned out!!

I just recently purchased the Cute as a Bee Designer Series Paper and really like each and every pattern in it. It is just so cheerful and it’s on the Last Chance sale at a discount.

The directions for this fold can be found on Jeanie’s Just Stampin’ blog HERE. I’m sure you’ll have no trouble following along with her directions. The only adjustment I made was that I added an additional layer of Petunia Pop card stock between the card base(s) and the DSP. Therefore, my margins look smaller. The sentiments for both the front and inside are from the Mama Elephant stamp set, Paola’s Wishes. I think the sentiments and the font are a fun addition to this cheerful card.

This is how it looks opened…aren’t those sweet little bees adorable!? I cute them from the DSP.

I hope you’ll give this fold a try, if you already haven’t. Thanks for coming by today and I hope you have an enjoyable weekend. Not many more Summer weekends left, but hey, then come the Fall weekends, which in my opinion are better! Which camp are you in?

Take care,

Rosanne
