It’s Tic Tac Toe Thursday. I created today’s board and I hope you’ll find some fun elements that spark your creativity. I’d love for you to join us. Here’s the board…
I chose the third row down: Die Cut, Free, Birthday
Here’s what I came up with…
As soon as I saw the Zany Zoo Suite in the new catalog, I was hooked. I couldn’t wait to get these products and was so happy that they were on the demonstrator pre-order. I just love the adorable “characters” featured on the stamp set and the Zoo Crew Designer Series Paper.
Here’s the details…
Cut & Measure
- Lemon-Lime card base: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″
- Basic Black card stock: 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″ and 5 1/4″ x 4″ (inside)
- Zoo Crew DSP: cut with the largest Scalloped Contours die
- Basic White card stock: 5″ x 3 3/4″
Assemble
- Glue the Basic Black card stock to the Lemon-Lime card base.
- Using ink and blending brushes, blend color on the dotted pattern from the Zoo Crew DSP. I used Lemon-Lime, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Pool Party ink.
- Glue to the card front.
- Stamp the sentiment, from the Zany Zoo stamp set. Add a strip of Lemon-Lime card stock and a Basic Black scallop cut from the Scalloped Contours die.
- Stamp the confetti image and color.
- Adhere to the card front using dimensionals.
- Color the elephant image from the DSP using Stampin’ Blends and fussy cut.
- Add to the sentiment strip.
- Embellish with sequins.
- The inside sentiment is also from the Zany Zoo stamp set.
- Add a strip of the ink blended DSP.
- The envelope is also embellished with DSP and a Basic Black scalloped edge.
I hope you’ll head over to the Tic Tac Toe Challenge to see my Team O teammates’ wonderful card designs. I’m sure you’ll find lots of inspiration. Come and join the fun!
Take care,
Rosanne
