Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
This month, we have a Tic Tac Toe theme. We really hope that you will be inspired by all the amazing creations the Pals are sharing with you! As you hop from blog to blog, we love reading your comments. Then, you will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
Here’s our Tic Tac Toe board…
I decided to go with the 1st row across: Fancy Fold, Dies or Punches, Mother’s Day
I created a (not that) Fancy Fold card along with a gift bag using the Fresh as a Daisy DSP and Cheerful Daisies bundle.
Measure & Cut
- Basic White Thick card base: 11″ x 4 1/4″, score at 5 1/2
- Boho Blue card stock: 5 3/8″ x 1 5/8″
- Boho Blue inside card stock: 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″ and 5 1/4″ x 1 7/8″
- Fresh as a Daisy DSP: 5 1/4″ x 2 1/4″
Assemble
- To create the “dutch door”, place card base in trimmer on the 4 1/4″ side. Then trim it at 1 3/4″ down to the score line.
- Turn the card and trim off the top part of the card on the score line. The door should measure 5 1/2″ x 1 3/4″.
- Emboss the smaller piece of Boho Blue card stock using the Cane Weave 3D embossing folder and glue to the front of the “door”.
- Stamp and heat emboss two small daises on Boho Blue card stock with white embossing powder.
- Stamp the flower centers with Copper Clay ink.
- Cut the flowers with the coordinating dies and glue to the door.
- Stamp the sentiment, from the Wonderful Thoughts stamp set. Die cut with the coordinating dies. I cut two additional dies and layered the sentiment for more dimension.
- Layer the Boho Blue panel to the inside of the card base.
- Add the DSP panel to the top leaving a 1/8″ border.
- Glue the Boho Blue strip to the bottom of the card, also leaving a 1/8″ border.
- Stamp the inside sentiment on the Basic White panel and glue as shown.
Since I’ll be giving this to my daughter, Emily for Mother’s Day, I added a matching gift bag using a (retired) Peekaboo Treat Bag. I tucked a gift card behind the chocolate.
Thanks for stopping by today!
More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. The Pals are very excited to show you what they’ve created! Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop on June 14th, when our theme will be showcasing the New 2023-2025 In Colors.
Until then, have fun in your craft space.

Both of these are wonderful! I love the simple fun fold and especially the heat embossed daisies!
Both projects are so sweet and cheerful!
Love the coordinating products in the beautiful Boho Blue! So pretty!
So pretty, Rosanne! Love your designs!
A pretty pairing, Rosanne! I really like that fancy fold!
Terrific elements for this project:)
Great fun to see how you put your own stamp on our Tic Tac Toe Hop Pal!
Love you Mother’s Day duo Rosanne! Very pretty!!
Rosanne, I like the Mother’s day card. This is the first chance that I have seen a card created with the new Boho card stock. The Cane Weave EF has become my all time favorite to use on cards.
I really like the greeting you used on the inside of this Mother’s Day card.
What stamp set is this from? Or perhaps you created your own greeting.
This is a perfect greeting to use for a Mother’s Day card for my daughters.
Thank you
Thanks, Lora! The stamp set is the retired, Happy Thoughts. It’s one that I will hang onto and use for quite sometime. It’s perfect for the inside of cards. I’m giving this card to my daughter, too.
What a beautiful Mother’s Day card and gift set! I really love all of the pretty details. Thank you for joining the blog hop this month!
Thank you, Debbie!
