For today’s Two for Tuesday, I created a pretty many occasion card and matching tag. Often times when I give a gift, it’s in a gift bag. Even though my gift is always accompanied by a handmade card, I think a tag attached to the bag would be nice. And making the card and tag coordinate is even better!
Details
Measure & Cut
- Basic White Thick card base: 11″ x 4 1/4″, score at 5 1/2″
- Crumb Cake card stock: 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″ and 5 1/4″ x 4″ (inside)
- Basic White card stock: 5 3/8″ x 1/8″ strips (cut 2) and 5″ x 3 3/4″ (inside)
- Basic White Stenciled card stock: 5 3/8″ x 1 3/4″
Assemble
- Emboss the Crumb Cake panel. I used the retired Tasteful Textured Embossing Folder.
- Using a stencil from the Artistic Mix Decorative Masks, stencil a 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ piece of Basic White card stock with Crumb Cake ink.
- Cut a 5 3/8″ x 1 3/4″ panel from the stenciled card stock.
- Glue this panel to the card front.
- Add the Basic White 1/8″ strips to each side of the stenciled panel.
- Stamp and cut a variety of flowers from the Two-Tone Flora bundle. I used Blueberry Bushel & Boho Blue and Pumpkin Pie & Pale Papaya (ret) along with Old Olive ink for the leaves.
- Arrange the flowers using glue and dimensionals.
- Add some pearls to the flower centers.
- The sentiment is from the Wonderful Thoughts bundle. I only used a partial portion of the sentiment.
- Used the second, third and fourth largest dies from the Countryside Corners dies to create the tag.
- The sentiment is also from the Wonderful Thoughts bundle.
I think this will make a pretty presentation the next time I’m giving a gift. I’ll definitely be making a few more card/tag sets soon.
Thanks for joining me today for Two for Tuesday.
Take care,
Rosanne
