Flurry of Fun – PP769

As we’re getting ready for a BIG (?) snowstorm this weekend, I was having a good time creating this fun winter card.

Today’s card features a cute stamp set from My Favorite Things stamp company called Snow Buddies. Although, MFT is no longer in business, their stamps remain favorites of mine. I used one of my favorite techniques, paper piecing on the coat, hat and scarf as well as the dog’s scarf. These were all cut from Lawn Fawn patterned paper.

I’m playing along with The Paper Players “Winter Fun” challenge HERE.

Thanks for stopping by,

Rosanne

  1. Absolutely adorable, Rosanne! The little girl is such a sweet image, all dressed up in her paper-pieced coat, hat and scarf. The embossed background is amazing. However, it is the little pupper with scarf that steals my heart! Thank you for playing with The Paper Players this week!

  2. What a cute card. Love the scene you created. I also have many of MFT stamps & dies and love them.

  3. MFT images are unmistakable and I’m so glad you brought yours out for this adorable card Rosanne! The paper piecing looks lovely, adding some wonderful design elements. Such a cute card design with the fence and the embossed snowflake background! Like you, I’ll always keep and use my MFT (especially Birdie Brown) stamps. Thank you so much for joining us at the Paper Players this week!

Your little sweetie is surely ready for winter fun Rosanne – just lovely! Thanks for sharing with us over at The Paper Players this week!

  5. You put all my favorite things about winter in your sweet little scene – snow, a cute dog, and warm hats and mittens! Now the little girl just needs to go inside for a mug of hot cocoa lol. The paper piecing you did adds SO much to this clean and simple card – what a great technique for this style!
