Find Your Happy Place – FMS #743

I hope you’re still enjoying this holiday weekend. We’re taking it really easy here so I had a lot of crafting time yesterday and decided to get back on the challenge circuit. It’s been some time since I’ve regularly entered challenges and I’ve missed it.

So today, I’m playing along with Freshly Made Sketches...

I do love a sketch challenge as it provides a good jumping off point to get you started and the inspiration on the challenge blog always helps, too. So here’s what I came up with…

I recently purchased SU’s Waterside Retreat Designer Series Paper for the wonderful summer images, which were fussy cut and adhered to a nautical embossed panel.

I found a perfect small sentiment for the card front. It came from Lawn Fawn’s Little Woodland Library stamp set. Most Lawn Fawn sets are chock full of adorable little sentiments that can be used for so many occasions. So I was happy to find this one for my card. The inside sentiment came from Concord & 9th’s True Story stamp set….another one with so many useful sentiments. And I thought the small type size coordinated well with the front sentiment.

I hope you find yourself in your happy place today…and have a great day!

  3. What is the embossing folder called and where could it be found

    • I’m sorry but I bought this a very long time ago when I first started stamping and don’t remember where. If I had to guess, it was probably Michaels.
