Pinwheel Party Slimline Birthday

When I saw the current challenge at Fusion, I knew exactly what products I would be using.  I also needed to make a birthday card for my daughter, Emily.  Using The Greetery’s Pinwheel Party stencils, I came up with this fun and colorful card.  Stenciling is such a fun technique and The Greetery really has the most creative stencils.  I used a variety of Simon Says Pawsitively Saturated Inks.  The sentiment is from Neat & Tangled Celebrate 2.

Here’s the inside sentiment…

Again, thanks very much for stopping by!

Birthday Cheers – Z Fold Card

Hello!  It’s been a while since I made a fun fold card.  It’s my Son-in-Law, James’ birthday next week and I knew I had to step up my card making game to create a special card.  James always makes a fuss about my cards so I really like to try to WOW him!  I hope this card does it!

I hunted around Pinterest for a tutorial and adjusted the size to work for my design.  The stamps and dies are from My Favorite Things. I cut the dies with Copper foil. The wine glass shaker is filled with embellishment from my stash.  The patterned paper is DCWV: Falling Leaves 6 x 6 paper pad.

Here it is folded.  It actually fits quite nicely in the envelope but will definitely need a non-machinable stamp.

I’m playing along with the Tic Tac Toe #178 Challenge HERE

My card qualifies two ways.  First, the second column down: Orange/Rust, Free, Layers and diagonally: Sentiment, Free, Any Shape Die.

Thanks for checking in today.

Take care,

Rosanne

A Basket of Happy Sunflowers

Sometimes it’s the smallest stamps in a set that can make a big impact.  I used a couple of those sweet little images from Stampin’ Up!’s Bike Ride (retired) stamps and dies:  the basket and sunflowers to create this clean and simple Thinking of You card.

I used a brand new stamp set for the sentiments both on the outside and inside: My Favorite Things, Thoughtful Greetings.  It’s a wonderful addition to my sentiment stamp collection.  Here’s a peek at the inside…

I hope you’re looking forward to some Fall fun soon!  Thanks for stopping by!

Take care,
