A Sweet Summer Hello – June CC2C

Welcome back to this month’s installation of CASEing Coast to Coast with Karen Hallam in CA and myself here in PA.  If your new here, once a month Karen and I take turns CASEing (Copy and Selectively Edit) each other’s projects concentrating on a specific stamp set, card layout or theme.  This month, I choose to go with a Summer theme.

I created my mini slimline card using the adorable stamp set, Beach Buddies from Sunny Studios.  I love the cute critters and all the fun, summery accessories in this set.  And coloring them was so much fun!

If you haven’t travelled West yet, head on over to Karen’s blog to see her summer inspiration.  Speaking of inspiration, this card is heading to my two summer fun loving grandsons.  Although they both have somewhat painful looks in this photo.  I think Mom may have been taking too many pictures at the pool!

I’m playing along with the Tic Tac Toe #165 Challenge this week…

I chose to go diagonally:  Swimming/Pool, Embellishment, Circle

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you’ll be having some summer fun, too!

Sending Sweet Hugs

Today’s project is truly a testament to how many different products from a variety of companies can mesh to create a pretty card.  The card base is SU Baja Breeze (remember that one?!).  The pretty coordinating patterned paper is from Lawn Fawn’s Flower Market 6 x 6 paper pad.  The petite daisies were cut from Honey Bee’s Spring Bouquet dies.  The ribbon is retired SU and the sentiment is from Mama Elephant’s Paola’s Wishes stamp set.

I’m on a mission to spend less on craft supplies and use what I’ve already purchased. Although I’m sure there will be some new “must haves”, I’m also finding it so satisfying using many products that were “must haves”!

The inspiration for today’s card came from the Tic Tac Toe Challenge #161

I chose the second row across:  Bow, Blue, Stripes as well as the first column down:  Layers, Bow, Floral

Thanks for stopping in today…I wish you a wonderful week ahead!

Mother’s Day Gift Set

Hi there!  It’s been a little while since I shared a project.  Sometimes life just seems to happen all at once and there have been a few happenings in my somewhat quiet life…some really good and some a little troublesome but nothing that God didn’t take care of and made well again.

Today, I’m sharing (a little late) a sweet Mother’s Day gift I created for my daughter, Emily.  Emily’s a 5th Grade teacher along with being the Administrator for a summer camp for blind children.  This Momma is truly our hero.  She’s so strong and fiercely dedicated to these two adorable little boys.

For the card, I used Spellbinders April 2021 Large Die of the Month, Universal Curved Border Dies for the flowers.  The sentiments are from Lawn Fawn’s Happy, Happy, Happy stamp set.  I embellished the purchased frame to coordinate with the card.

I’m playing along with the Tic Tac Toe #160 challenge...

I chose the third row across: Die Cut, Leaves, Pearls

Thanks for stopping by today.  It’s a spectacular spring day here in PA and I’m off to the nursery for more flowers.  I hope your day is just as enjoyable.

Sweet Missing You Card

Sharing this sweet little missing you card today.  Even though I’m lucky enough to see my two adorable grandsons, Jack & Luke on a regular basis, I still like to pop a card in the mail to them to let them know that Nanny is always thinking about them!  The Somebunny to Love set (MFT) is perfect for such a card. The Balmy Blue (SU) card base is embossed with a retired SU embossing folder.  I created a few ink blended clouds for the sleeping bunny to float on. He was colored with copics, while his quilt was paper pieced using a MFT Plaid paper pack.

I added a few more clouds along a few more stamped images from this set.

I’m playing along with the My Favorite Things Wednesday Challenge

Thanks for stopping by today!
