Hand-Penned Encouragement Card for #TTTC206

Continuing with my last ditch quest to highlight some Last Chance products, I’m featuring the Hand-Penned bundle.  I really like the sketchy (in a good way) design of the flowers in this stamp set.  Not to mention, it’s a two-step stamp set, so coloring is breeze.

Here’s the details…

Measure & Cut

• Basic White card base: cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
• Basic Black card stock: cut at 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″
• Pool Party card stock: cut at 5 1/4″ x 4″ cut 2: one for the inside
• Basic White card stock: cut at 5″ x 3 3/4″

Put it together

• Glue the Basic Black card stock to the card base.
• Using the dot embossing folder from the 3D Basic Embossing Folders (available in the Online Exclusives HERE), emboss the Pool Party card stock.
• Stamp four floral images from the Hand-Penned Petals stamp set in Tuxedo Memento Black ink.
• Using stamp pads (I listed the colors below) stamp each flower to color.
• Cut the images with the coordinating Penned Flowers dies.
• Glue three of the images to the Pool Party panel, leaving some overlapping.
• Trim the overlapping.
• Wrap a piece of ribbon around this panel.
• Glue it to the black panel.
• Stamp the sentiment from the Forever Fern stamp set and cut with a Stitched Rectangles dies.
• Using dimensionals, adhere the sentiment to the center of the ribbon.
• Lastly, add a few sequins.

Here’s a peek inside…

• I hand-cut just the large flower from the fourth stamped floral image.
• The sentiment is from the retired Special Moments stamp set.
