Finally Friday! Although Fridays really don’t have the same feel now that I’ve retired. However, the weekend is always something to look forward to.
In an effort to use up some retiring Designer Series Paper, my card today features the Butterfly Kisses DSP. I really like the patterns and butterflies that can be cut from this paper.
Here’s the details…
Measure & Cut
- Basic White thick card base: cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″
- Calypso Coral card stock: cut at 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″ and 5 1/4″ x 4″ (inside)
- Floral DSP: cut at 5 1/4″ x 2 1/2″ and 5″ x 1″ (inside)
- Striped DSP: cut at 5 1/4″ x 1 1/2″
- Basic White card stock: 5″ x 3 3/4″ (inside)
Assemble
- Glue the Calypso Coral panel to the card base.
- Glue the DSP panels leaving 1/8″ margins around the edges. This will leave a small space in the middle between each pattern.
- Stamp the sentiment, from the Pansy Patch stamp set, on the striped DSP.
- Cut the butterflies from the DSP and adhere with dimensionals.
- The sentiment on the inside is from the retired Sale-a-bration set, Beautifully Happy.

I’m revisiting some of your past posts, Rosanne, and this one caught my attention. It’s really cute, and I realized that I can do something like this with the pack of paper that I still have so much of – without owning the bundle. Great idea to cut out the butterflies! I will go back and use more of this cute paper. Thanks for reminding me that it’s still in my stash waiting to be used! Especially cute for spring!
