With Sale-A-Bration 2018 winding down at the end of the week, I wanted to share a project that I really enjoyed making using the Amazing You stamp set that’s a FREE product during this promotion.  There were many sets included in this year’s Sale-A-Bration Catalog that I absolutely loved and will continue to use for a long time.  But I must say that this set has seen the most ink!  I’m a bit obsessed with this flower!

I created a set of four Thank You notes and a “wallet” to hold them.

The notes were the Whisper White Note Cards & Envelopes.  I color coordinated the card stock and flower color on each card.  The sentiment is from the Thankful Thoughts stamp set.

First, I stamped the flower image on a piece of Whisper White card stock in Old Olive ink along with the sentiment in Basic Black ink.  Then I stamped the same flower image twice on a separate piece of Whisper White card stock in Black Memento ink and colored each using Stampin’ Blends.  After coloring both flowers, I cut one out completely and glued it directly on top of the image that was stamped in Old Olive.  Next, I only cut the inner petals from the second flower, curled it with a bone folder and used a Stampin’ Dimensional to adhere it.  This gives a really pretty dimensional look.  I also added some Clear Wink of Stella to the top flower for a pretty sparkle.

To embellish the envelope flap, I used one of the embossing folders included in the Petal Pair Textured Impressions Embossing Folder set.  These can be found in the Occasions Catalog and they’re also one of the free items included in the Sale-A-Bration promotion.   This gave the envelopes a really pretty texture without adding a lot of bulk.

So now that I had this pretty set of Note Cards, I needed something equally pretty to put them in.  I searched on You Tube for ideas and found this fabulous one HERE from France Martin.  I had to tweak the dimensions a bit and used a non-SU die to create the flap but France’s tutorial was very helpful and inspirational.

The Designer Series Paper pattern is from the Suite Soiree collection but the sky’s the limit with how to decorate this wallet.  I made a few more sets of these using different DSP which I will post on Friday.  I had the large black embellishment in my stash and it was just perfect for the center of the flower.

To keep it closed, I glued two tiny magnets and hid them behind the circles you see above.  This keeps the wallet nicely and neatly closed.

I was surprised at how easy these were and really not that time consuming when you have a production line going.  I like to have projects like this that I can do in different stages.  I stamped all the flowers and then while watching TV colored and cut them.  Using the Misti, I stamped the flower image and sentiment on the note card at the same time.  Once I had the dimensions for the box it was easy to cut a few at a time along with the Designer Series Paper.

I plan on giving a few of these sets out as gifts and will be making more to include in my Craft Shows next Fall.
