  • I’m just so delighted with the Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper.  This paper collection is absolutely beautiful and I’m loving creating with it.  You’ll definitely see me use this paper again and again.

  • The Wisteria Wonder card base is matted with a pattern from Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper.
  • The sentiment is stamped in Wisteria Wonder ink and cropped with Layering Ovals framelits.

  • The inside sentiment is two more stamps from Happy Birthday Gorgeous.  I placed both on my block together to ensure they would line up perfectly.
  • Adding a strip of Designer Series Paper to the envelope is an easy way to tie the project together and create a total custom look.

Springtime Grapevine Wreath

Stampin Up Jar of Love Birthday Card - Rosanne Mulhern

As I mentioned before, I love wreaths.  I used to enjoy making them for holidays and for gifts. But these days, I absolutely adore making them from paper, stamps and dies.  Stampin’ Up! has so many sets that can be transformed into wreaths.  Here is another springtime wreath.

  • The card base is Crumb Cake card stock with a mat of retiring Watermelon Wonder card stock cut 1/8″ smaller and Very Vanilla card stock cut 1/4″ smaller.
  • Watermelon Wonder 5/8″ mini striped ribbon is a pretty way to break up all the solid card stock.
  • The sentiment, from Butterfly Basics stamp set, is stamped in Watermelon Wonder ink.

  • I used Swirly Scribbles Thinlits to create the wreath.  I cut the swirl out twice in Crumb Cake card stock and glued them together.
  • The flowers are stamped and cut from Jar of Love stamps and Everyday Jars framelits.  Both products are still available as a bundle and will save you 10% but only until May 31.  They will be in the new catalog but not at the bundled price.
  • The flowers were attached to the wreath and to each other with glue dots.
  • I placed Stampin’ Dimensionals on the wreath behind the flowers and adhered it to the card.

  • The inside sentiment is also from Butterfly Basics stamp set.  This set will also be carrying over in the new catalog.
  • Affectionately Yours Designer Series Paper adds a pretty detail to the inside and the front of the Crumb Cake envelope.
  • Here’s a little breakdown of some of the products used on this card.

Something for a Sweet Baby Girl

Stampin Up A Sweet Baby Girl Baby Card - Rosanne Mulhern

My daughter needed a card for a good friend who just had a baby girl and I was very happy to oblige!  I love creating baby cards and cards for young children, although the opportunity doesn’t come up that often.

Today’s card uses mostly retiring products.  You can see all the retiring products here.

  • The card base is Very Vanilla card stock cut at 4 1/2″ x 4 1/2″.  The Pink Pirouette mat is cut at 4 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ and the next layer of Very Vanilla is cut 1/8″ smaller.
  • I cut a Pink Pirouette scalloped square and a Very Vanilla straight square from the Layering Squares framelits.
  • Embossing with the Elegant Dots embossing folder added some delicate texture.
  • The squares were popped with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

  • The baby carriage is stamped in Pink Pirouette ink with an image from Something for Baby stamp set and cut with the coordinating, Baby’s First framelits.  These along with the sentiment, from the Made with Love stamp set will be retiring on May 31.
  • Very Vanilla 1/4″ Satin Ribbon from the Occasions Catalog is a pretty detail along with the pearls on the wheels.
  • The sentiment is cut using Bunch of Banners framelits.

  • Since this isn’t a standard size card, I needed to create my own envelope using the Envelope Punch Board.
  • I coordinated the envelope with the card by embossing the envelope flap.
  • Below are some of the products used on this card.

This card is one that I will probably do again but change the color scheme as I think it’s so pretty and delicate…just like a new baby!

Thank you for taking the time to look in today.

Designer Inspired Birthday Blast

Stampin Up Birthday Blast Birthday Card - Rosanne Mulhern

The inspiration for today’s Birthday card came from a trip to the mall last week.  I rarely go to the mall anymore but really needed some retail therapy…ever have one of those weeks?!  I am always drawn to the Tommy Hilfiger collection and his signature colors.  I saw this pretty purse and was thus inspired….

  • The card base is Watermelon Wonder (a retiring in-color) with a mat of Night of Navy and Whisper White each cut 1/8″ smaller.
  • Retiring Elegant Dots embossing folder provided pretty texture. The new Annual Catalog has some awesome new embossing folders, however, this one has been a real favorite of mine.

  • The sentiment is from the Birthday Blast stamp set which is also retiring but still available until May 31.  It’s stamped in Night of Navy ink.
  • There’s those daisies again!  If you follow my blog, you’ve seen these cute little daisies before here and here cut from the Succulents framelits.  I simply love them!

  • The inside sentiment says it all…this is also from Birthday Blast stamp set.
  • Two more daises cut out leaving the negative image creates a pretty embellishment.
  • The envelope flap is decorated with some fun polka dots from the Regals Designer Series Paper.
