Sending Love Notecard

With Stampin’ Up! Sending Love Suite the creative possibilities are endless for creating Valentine cards and beyond the holiday.  My card today uses the Sealed with Love Photopolymer stamp set and the coordinating Love Notes framelits along with Sending Love 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper Stack.

Here’s the Details….

  • The Real Red notecard (3 1/2″ x 5″) has a mat of Whisper White and Pool Party cardstock.

  • The fun on this notecard is the sweet little envelope with the love note tucked inside.
  • The “shower” of hearts was punched from the Confetti Heart Punch.

  • The inside sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.  This is such a useful set.  There are sentiments for just about every occasion and with their small size they are perfect for cards as well as tags and 3D items.
  • For the row of hearts at the bottom, I used a die from the Mini Treat Bag thinlits.  Most of Stampin’ Up! thinlits and framelits come with great “accessory” dies that can be used for alternate projects adding that much more value to them.

This was a quick and fun card to make using products from Sending Love Suite.  I can see making this card into a birthday or thinking of you card…stay tuned!

Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by today.

Take care,

Rosanne

Me + You Valentine

It’s a cold, wet and dreary Sunday here in PA…so I’ll be stampin’ the day away!  Today I’m sharing a Valentine card I made for the Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge….

There were so many possibilities to consider with this challenge.  However, I wanted to make a masculine Valentine.  I find it rather difficult to make masculine cards, thus the challenge!

Here’s the Details….

  • The card base is Crumb Cake with a mat of Cherry Cobbler.
  • The next panel is Crumb Cake stamped in Soft Suede ink using the Hardwood stamp.

  • The heart was cut out using Sweet & Sassy Framelits.  Before gluing the Cherry Cobbler frame, I cut and glued the arrow from Love Notes Framelits.
  • I used the Labeler Alphabet stamp set to stamp the sentiment on a scrap piece of Crumb Cake cardstock.  I think the “messiness” of the lettering in this set was perfect for a tree carving!  I also thought that I should have said You + Me but…too late for that!
  • The sentiment was positioned and glued to the Cherry Cobbler panel.
  • The Hardwood panel was popped up using Foam Adhesive Strips for a more dimensional look.

  • The inside is pretty simple…another heart cut from Sweet & Sassy Framelits over a mat of Cherry Cobbler cardstock.
  • The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.  I find myself using this set more and more.  It has such simple sentiments for so many occasions.

  • A few Enamel Shapes finish off the card.
  • A strip of Cherry Cobbler and Chocolate Chip cardstock embellish the Crumb Cake envelope.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a chance to stamp today…even if it’s not raining!

Take care,

Rosanne

  • Using the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits Dies, the Love sentiment was cut in Basic Black and white fun foam for additional dimension.

This card will be the perfect Valentine card for “my person”!

It’s Your Birthday – Let’s Celebrate!

Hi there…if it’s your birthday, let’s celebrate.  If not, let me just share this birthday card with you!

For as busy as this card looks, it came together rather quickly.

Here’s the details….

  • The festive pattern from Tasty Treats Designer Series Paper collection dictated the color combination.
  • Watermelon Wonder, Peekaboo Peach and Pool Party created the sweet palette.

  • The banner was created using the Banner Triple punch with strips of cardstock added.
  • The hearts were cut using the two smallest dies from Sweet & Sassy Framelits Dies and the smallest heart was cut using a die from Love Notes Framelits Dies.  It was very handy having both of the sets.
  • The sentiment is from Balloon Adventures Stamp Set and cut using a die from Large Numbers Framelits Dies and popped with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • JUST FOR FUN….I added the Sprinkles Embellishments from the Occasions Catalog to the banner.  Here’s a hint on adhering them:  use a toothpick dipped in glue.

  • The inside sentiment is also from Balloon Adventures Stamp Set and is stamped in Watermelon Wonder ink.
  • Another heart cut out with a bit of Designer Series Paper underneath finishes it nicely.
  • Add some Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap and you have yourself pretty fun birthday card!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Take care,

Rosanne
