A “Bookish” Friendship – The Paper Players #677

My Favorite Things Our Story Friendship Card - Rosanne Mulhern Heartfelt Stamping

My card share today is a sweet friendship card.  Besides card making, my other hobbies include cross-stitching and reading.  I always have a book in progress and sometimes more than one at a time.  Presently, I’m reading two books and listening to another.  I guess it may be a borderline obsession…but I’m ok with that.  And having worked a lot of years in libraries, it’s needless to say that I also have a lot of like-minded “bookish” friends to send cards to.

I pulled out two favorite book themed sets for my card.  The images are from My Favorite Things: Our Story stamp and die set and the sentiments (both outside and inside) are from Mama Elephant’s: Good Reads.  The pattern paper is from a 6 x 6 Craft Consortium pad: Bloom and Wild.  I also used this paper to “upholster” the comfy arm chair.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you’re having a nice day!  Our weather here in PA is cold but bright and sunny.  And here’s Olive after a long brisk walk soaking up the sun and surrounded always by her toys.

Take care,

Happy Easter Bunny – #tttc241

Happy Easter Bunny Easter Card- Rosanne Mulhern Heartfelt Stamping

Now that Valentine’s Day has come and gone, I’m so ready to create some Spring/Easter cards.  I’ll start off with this cute Easter Card for the Tic Tac Toe Challenge HERE.  I chose the first row across:  Sparkle, Die Cut/Punch, Bunny

Once I chose the layout, I combed my paper stash for a Spring collection with coordinating patterns and colors.  The paper I’m using is Echo Park’s Hello Easter 6 x 6 paper pad.  Choosing this paper allowed me to create three slightly different cards.

Each card uses the same SU products: Easter Bunny stamp and punch, Scalloped Contours die for the scalloped mat, Layering Circles and Stitched Shapes.  The coordinating glitter paper came from Michaels.

These were really fun to make and now I have three Easter cards ready to go!

Please head over to the Tic Tac Toe Challenge to see the beautiful projects my Team O teammates created.  I hope you’ll be inspired to join us with your own creation.  The challenge is now open for two weeks, so you’ll have plenty of time…can’t wait to see what you create!

Thanks very much for stopping by today.

Take care,

Rosanne

A “Smashing”Birthday – FMS 622

Lawn Fawn Year 7 Birthday Card -Rosanne Mulhern Heartfelt Stamping

Who doesn’t love a piñata?  I never had one as a child but each of my girls had a few of them for their birthdays.  It was always fun to choose one and stuff it with candy galore!

When I saw the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches this week, this idea immediately came to mind.  I dug out Lawn Fawn’s Year 7 stamp and die set from my stash to create this festive birthday card.  The patterned paper is a very old and long retired pattern from Stampin’ Up! I don’t recall the name but the colors and pattern worked so well.  For the fringe I used a die from SU’s Birthday Balloons bundle.

Here’s a look at the inside…

And HERE’S the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches.  I download their sketches each week with the intention of entering the challenge and somehow time slips away from me.  So I’m very happy to get this one in under the wire!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you had an enjoyable weekend.

Take care,

Rosanne

Country Vibe Valentine

Country Vibe Valentine Card - Rosanne Mulhern Heartfelt Stamping

Happy Friday, friends!  I’m sharing the last of my Valentine’s Day cards for 2024 with this country inspired card.  I paired the red gingham heart with an embellishment of retired Cherry Cobbler ribbon and SU’s Tin Tile Embossing Folder (ret) which is one of my all-time favorite folders.  The Love sentiment is from the Honey Bee Bitty Buzzwords dies.  I really like the combination of rich Cherry Cobbler and Kraft.

Here’s the inside…just simple and sweet!

I took my inspiration for this card from the current Tic Tac Toe Challenge.  Here’s the board

I chose the first row across: Enamel Dots, Kraft, Use Word Love

Thanks for looking today and I hope you’re looking forward to a nice weekend!

Take care,

Rosanne
