Fun Holiday Treat Holder Tags – CC2C

Welcome back to another CASEing Coast to Coast project adventure.  Each month my friend, Karen Hallam in CA and myself here in PA come together to collaborate on a stamping project.  We alternate choosing the direction of our project each month and then CASE (copy and selectively edit) the chosen theme, color combination, sketch, etc.   This month we chose a Holiday Treat theme….

The Greetery Candy Pop Rectangle Holiday Treat Holders - Rosanne Mulhern Heartfelt StampingEven though I got to choose our direction, it was a bit of a challenge for me to decide on a project.  That is, until I remembered that I had these cute and fun dies from The Greetery: the Rectangle Candy Pops dies. I purchased these when they first came out probably at least two years ago and I’m ashamed to say that I never used them until now.  I hate when that happens and it seems to happen a lot here! They make such a fun gift tag with the added chocolate Santa treat.  I think perhaps three Hershey nuggets would also fit inside.  I’m going to try that soon.  The striped paper is from a retired Papertrey Ink collection and worked perfectly with these dies.

Thanks for looking in today.  If you haven’t already, please head west HERE to see Karen’s creative project.

Have a happy Wednesday,

Rosanne

Ornate Ornaments Gift Tag – #TTTC233

Welcome to the first Tic Tac Toe Challenge of November…how is it November already?  This week’s challenge board created by Silke is chock full of fun elements and I had a lot of fun with them.

Here’s the board….I hope you’ll play along with us.

And here is my project….

Ornate Ornament Gift Tags - Rosanne Mulhern Heartfelt Stamping

I chose the first row across: Ornaments, Gift Tag, Ribbon

I reached far back into my stash to come up with these pretty ornament tags.  The stamp set is from a one-time favorite stamp company, Waltzing Mouse Stamps.  Unfortunately, they are no longer in business.  I stamped each ornament in Versa Mark ink and heat embossed in various metallic embossing powders.  I used gold, silver, platinum and copper.  This stamp set coordinates with a few Spellbinders die sets:  2010 Heirloom Ornaments, 2011 Heirloom Ornaments and 2012 Heirloom Ornaments.

Here’s the inside of the tag…

It was really fun to revisit these stamps and dies. I even have a few more ideas for them.

Take care,

Rosanne

Gingerbread Fun Fold Christmas Card – #TTTC231

Gingerbread Fun Fold Christmas Card -Rosanne Mulhern Heartfelt Stamping

While I’m still have a good time creating Fall, Halloween and Thanksgiving projects, I threw in a Christmas Fun Fold for this week’s Tic Tac Toe Challenge.

Here’s Jeanne’s board

I chose to go with the middle column down: Fun Fold, Gingerbread, Any Holiday and also the left diagonal: Plaid, Gingerbread, Enamel Dots

Here’s a look at the fold and the inside.  I used a variety of products from my stash beginning with Papertrey Ink’s Scent-imentals stamp set for the gingerbread boy and Power Poppy’s ________ for the inside sentiment.  For more inspiration, HERE’s another card I made using the same layout.

Thanks for looking into today and I hope you’ll head over to the Tic Tac Toe Challenge to see all the projects the design team came up with this weeks.

Take care,

Rosanne

Jumbo Acorn Harvest Blessings

Welcome to the October installment of CASEing Coast to Coast with Karen Hallam in CA and myself here in PA.  This month Karen chose our inspiration theme, which came from this seasonal photo…

As with each month on our cross-country stamping adventure, our theme is the jumping off point.  From there, Karen and I each create a project.  It’s fun to see each of our interpretations.  Here’s Karen’s card.  You can read all details HERE.

I also decided to let the leaves speak here to create an autumnal card, to which I will add a Thanksgiving sentiment to the inside.

The Greetery's Jumbo Acorn Fall Card - Rosanne Mulhern Heartfelt Stamping

I recently purchased the Jumbo Curiosity Acorn Die from The Greetery’s latest release and I’ve been cutting and coloring acorns non-stop!  This die set is so much fun.  I’ve seen so many beautiful cards created with it and I just needed to make one of my own. However, the pretty leaf patterned paper is also a stand-out.  It’s called Cozy Patterned Collection from Scrapbook.com.

Again, I used a lot of different products from my stash, including the sentiment, which is from the retired SU Country Home stamp set.

If you haven’t already, please head west to check out Karen’s pretty card HERE.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Take care,

Rosanne
