Layering Leaves Anniversary Card – #TTTC223

Stampin Up Layering Leaves Anniversary:Wedding card -Rosanne Mulhern Heartfelt Stamping

I titled this card an anniversary card. But in fact, it could work for any number of occasions.  It’s also my card for the Tic Tac Toe Challenge this week…

There’s a few ways I could go here: (1) Second Column down: Frame It, Gold/Silver, Leaves (2) Right diagonal: Anniversary, Gold/Silver, Free and (3) Third Row across: Free, Leaves, CAS Design

The card front features a silver foil frame with an embossed panel inside.  The leaf spray is a die from the Dainty Delight dies.  I cut it out with white card stock and sponged it green.  The sentiment is from the Dainty Delight stamp set and is punched using the Double Scalloped punch.

The inside is stamped with two sentiments from the Layering Leaves stamp set.  I really like the font.  I love embellishing the inside of my cards and the envelopes.  I used a strip of dry embossed card stock and a strip of silver foil here.

Please head over to the Tic Tac Toe Challenge to check out what the rest of Team O created.  I hope you’ll be inspired to share your own creation, as well.  Thanks for stopping by today, it is always appreciated!

Take care,

Rosanne

Stampin’ Up! Little Dreamers Baby Cards

Congratulations! It’s a Boy…and a Girl!

Stampin Up Little Dreamers Baby Congratulations Card-Rosanne Mulhern Heartfelt Stamping

I think Stampin’ Up!’s Little Dreamers Stamp set and coordinating dies are adorable.  It’s been a while since I purchased a baby set and was so ready for this cute bundle.  I would also use these sweet images on a baby’s first birthday card.

The Baby Boy card starts with a Basic White card base.  The top and bottom panels are made from Coastal Cabana card stock measuring 1 1/2″ x 5 3/8″ and a pattern from the retired Dandy Designs DSP measuring 1 3/8″ x 5 1/4″.  After adhering those panels, I stamped the sentiment. I colored part of the lion with Stampin’ Blends and using another pattern from the same DSP collection, paper pieced his PJs.  I also added some glitter stickles to the star and some sequins for embellishments.

The inside sentiment is from the retired Made with Love stamp set.

The Baby Girl card is made exactly the same way, except I used the cute baby elephant image.  It’s also paper pieced with a pattern from the Dandy Designs DSP.  The card base is Petal Pink card stock and the panels are Basic White card stock and a pattern from the retired Country Gingham DSP.

Back to School with CASE-ing Coast to Coast

Can it really be time to go back to school!?  In prior years, I would be very conflicted about going back…excited for the new school year and seeing all the students again but wishing the summer didn’t fly by.  Even though I’m retired, I still miss the excitement of a new school year.  Karen Hallam in CA and myself here in PA are both retired educators, so Karen’s theme idea of Back to School could not have been more appropriate for this month’s CASE-ing Coast to Coast.

Let’s take a look at Karen’s creative projects…

All the details can be found on Karen’s blog HERE.

Coincidentally, I also chose one of the same stamp sets, Bird’s Eye View, to create my card.

I paired the Bird’s Eye View stamp set with the Alphabet a la Mode dies and the Wonderful Thoughts stamps and dies for the sentiment. The coloring is done with a variety of Stampin’ blends.  The letters are cut with colored card stock as well as thick white card stock.  I offset and glued the colored letters to the white to give it a little more dimension.

The inside sentiment is from the Zany Zoo stamp set.

I had a very special little boy in mind while creating this card.  My grandson, Jack, will be starting Kindergarten next week.  While I don’t yet have a first day of school picture, here is Jack on his first day of camp last week at his new school.  He had the first day jitters but came home loving it.  Hopefully, he’ll be more relaxed on his first day of “real” school next week.

Thanks for stopping by and please be sure to take a trip west to check out Karen’s projects.

Take care,

Rosanne

Nautical Birthday – #TTTC221

Stampin Up Nautical Birthday Card Idea - Rosanne Mulhern Heartfelt Stamping

It’s Tic Tac Toe Thursday and as always it’s another fun board to get those creative juices flowing.  I chose to follow the middle column down:  Birthday, Nautical, Embellishment.  You can see the challenge HERE

I went through my craft supplies and pulled out a variety of nautical themed products to create today’s card.  The color combination is Cajun Craze and Night of Navy.  I even dug into some of my old Paper Pumpkin kits and came up with the sailboat and steering wheel.

This card will be perfect for my son-in-law’s September birthday.  I’ll just have to remember that I have it!

I hope you’ll head over to the Tic Tac Toe Challenge  I know you’ll be inspired by my fellow design team members’ creations.

Thanks for taking a look today!

Take care
