Cottage Wreath Celebration Card – Tic Tac Toe Challenge #202

Stampin Up Cottage Wreath Celebration Card - Rosanne Mulhern Heartfelt Stamping

It’s Tic Tac Toe Thursday and I have a sweet card to share today.  HERE’s the challenge board for this week…

I initially chose the second row across:  Floral/Foliage, Free, Pastel Colors but then saw that I could also do the third column diagonally: Die Cut(s), Free, Circle(s)

Materials & Measurements

  • Basic White card base:  cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Tea Boutique DSP pattern: cut at 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″
  • Pear Pizzazz card stock: cut at 4 3/4″ x 3 1/2″
  • Tea Boutique DSP pattern: cut at 4 1/2″ x 3 1/4″

Details

  • Glue the larger DSP panel to the front of the card base.
  • Glue the smaller DSP panel to the Pear Pizzazz panel.
  • Adhere this panel to the card base with dimensionals.
  • Cut three wreaths from the Cottage Wreath dies and layer.  I used Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive card stock.  Cut a Petal Pink bow and glue to the wreath.
  • Glue the wreath directly to the card front.
  • Add small pearls to the wreath.
  • Stamp the sentiment, from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set and heat emboss with black embossing powder.
  • Hand cut the sentiment and adhere with dimensionals.

The sentiment allows for this card to be used for any number of occasions.  I left the inside blank for now but I think I will be using this as a Mother’s Day card.  I really like the sweet, feminine look.

I hope you’ll head over to the Tic Tac Toe Challenge to see the creative projects Team X has come up with this week and perhaps join us this week with your own project.

Take care,

Rosanne

Set of “Artistic” All Occasion Cards

Stampin Up Artistic dies All Occasion Cards - Rosanne Mulhern Heartfelt Stamping

With the new annual catalog on the horizon, I’m going through my current products that haven’t gotten much attention and came across the Artistic dies.  I bought these dies solely for the intricate floral spray and leaf branch but haven’t used either one, yet.  So here’s to correcting some of that.  Today’s cards feature the floral spray against the 2022-2024 In-Color Glitter Paper.  Each one is so vibrant and adds just the right amount of sparkle and shine.

Materials & Measurements

  • In-Color card base: cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Using two of the Stitched Rectangle dies, cut a frame from Basic White card stock.
  • In-Color Glimmer Paper:  cut at 5″ x 3 3/4″

Details

  • Die cut the floral spray from Basic White card stock.
  • Align it with the frame and glue. Trim the excess that hangs over the edge of the frame.
  • Glue the glimmer panel to the frame and then glue to the card base.
  • Using the Country Bouquet stamp set, stamp the image in Versa Mark ink and heat emboss with white embossing powder.  Using this sentiment, allows for adding a sentiment for any occasion to the inside.
  • Cut the sentiment using a die from the Pretty Pillowbox dies.  Adhere to the card with dimensionals.
  • Lastly, add a few Clear Elegant Faceted Gems.  These really pick up the color of the glitter paper beautifully.

Here are each of the cards…

Again, thanks for stopping by today.

Irresistible Blooms Hello…Again

Stampin' Up! Irresistible Blooms Hello Card Idea - Rosanne Muilhern Heartfelt Stamping

Hello!  I’m popping in today on a bright and beautiful Monday to share another pretty card created with the Irresistible Blooms bundle and coordinating Hello, Irresistible 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper.  I know I’ve posted several cards using these products but I can’t say that I’m getting tired of them or am even close to putting them back on the shelf.  I think they are just that wonderful!

Today’s card is a similar layout to the card I posted HERE.  The measurements and materials are the same.  I just positioned the flowers differently.

I hope that if you’ve purchased this bundle, that you are having as much fun creating with it as I am.  And if you haven’t purchased it, you may consider it.  And if it isn’t something you’re really that interested in, I just hope that you enjoy seeing my projects, anyway!

Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope today is the start of a wonderful week!

Take care,

Rosanne

Rain or Shine Hello Card

Stampin Up Rain or Shine Hello Card -Rosanne Mulhern Heartfelt Stamping

It’s been a couple of dreary and wet days here.  Thus, I have a couple of rainy day cards that I hope are cheerful rather than dreary!  I think the Rain or Shine Designer Series paper is absolutely adorable and I’m having a great time creating cards with just the DSP.  In hindsight, I wish I would have ordered the bundle.  If it carries over in the new annual catalog, it will be on my wish list for sure.  But the DSP will be going away at the end of the mini catalog sales period on May 1st.  However, I think there are so many fun ways to create with the DSP, especially if you don’t mind hand cutting, which I find pretty relaxing.

Materials & Measurments

  • Gray Granite card base:  cut at 11″ x 4 1/4″, scored at 5 1/2″
  • Basic White card stock:  cut at 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″
  • Rain or Shine DSP:  cut at 5 1/4″ x 4″
  • Balmy Blue card stock:  cut at 5 1/4″ x 4″ (inside)
  • Basic White card stock:  cut 5″ x 3 3/4″ (inside)

Details

  • Layer the Basic White panel to the card front.
  • Cut a Balmy Blue scalloped circle and white straight edge circle using the Layering Circles dies.
  • Adhere to the  bottom left side of the card, leaving one side over the edge of the DSP panel. Trim this edge before gluing to the white panel.
  • Next, cut the images from the Rain or Shine Designer Series Paper to create the scene.  The  bunny image is popped with dimensional.
  • The sentiment is from the Pansy Patch stamp set.  I only stamped a portion of it to fit on the card.
  • The raindrop embellishments are from my stash.

  • The inside sentiment is also from the Pansy Patch stamp set.

Here’s another card that was inspired by our rainy days…
