A Cup of Tea…solves everything!

I wholeheartedly agree with the blog title!  As a tea enthusiast, I would not want to go a day without it.  I drink tea first thing in the morning, as soon as I come home from school and right before bed as well as a few cups in between.

A Cup of Tea Note -Rosanne Mulhern Heartfelt Stamping

I pulled out some retired products to create this card.  The “enjoy” stamp & die and paper are from Heartfelt Creations, Coffee Talk collection.  The cup is cut from the paper collection.  And the sentiment is from Clearly Besotted’s, My Cup of Tea stamp set.

I’m entering this card in the Fusion Challenge HERE…I played with both the sketch and the photo.

We had a few inches of snow today, so it was the perfect day to craft and drink tea.  I hope you had a nice Saturday, too.  Thanks for stopping by!

Take care,

Charming Floral Border Birthday Card

I’m playing along with The Paper Players Sketch Challenge: PP575 today and took the opportunity to create a birthday card using a new to me stamp and die.  The beautiful floral focal point is Pink Fresh Studio’s Charming Floral Border stamp set and coordinating die.  After coloring the floral border with Copic markers, I glued it to the white stitched rectangle panel.  Before gluing this panel to the Rococo Rose card base, I wrapped a thin strip of washi tape around the middle.  Lastly, the sentiment is from Sunny Studio’s Heartfelt Wishes stamp set and is heat embossed.

I simply coordinated the envelope by stamping the border and adding washi tape to the flap.

Thanks for looking in today!

Beautiful Books Just a Note…Card

If there’s a stamp set featuring books, I can guarantee I’ll purchase it. The stamp set featured on today’s card is one of those sets that had to belong in my collection.  It’s Sugar Pea Designs, Beautiful Books. Books and reading are right up there with stamping and paper crafts as favorite pastimes for me. The only difference is that I’ve been reading and collecting books a lot longer than I’ve been stamping.

This is one of those cards that can be used for just about any occasion.  I’m sending this “hello” note to another book loving friend.  There are so many cute little stamp images in this set but I’m completely smitten with the glasses and the simple bookmark.

The card design was inspired by the As You See It Challenge #266 .  I don’t think I’ve ever made a card with this type of diagonal design and now that I have, I have so many more ideas…thank you, LeAnne!

Thanks for taking the time to look in on my project.  I hope your week is off to a good start!

Take care,

Rosanne

Picture Book Snowman Christmas Card

I know, isn’t Christmas over now…so why a Christmas card in January?  Let’s just say, I’m ahead by one for Christmas this year!  Seriously, I’m playing along with a couple of challenges and this was the card I came up with…

Picture Book Snowman Christmas Card - Rosanne Mulhern Heartfeltstamping

Again, I reached into my stash and combined a few different products to create today’s card.  The sparkly snowman is die-cut from My Favorite Things Picture Book Characters.  I tucked him inside a scalloped oval from SU Layering Ovals.  The snowflake embossing folder is one I purchased at a craft store.  The sentiment is from the Neat & Tangled Merry Kisses stamp set.

The inside sentiment is from the retired SU stamp set, Snow Place.  I coordinated the inside with the envelope using the embossing folder and Lawn Fawn’s Perfectly Plaid 6 x 6 paper pad.

I’m entering this card into the Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

And the Tic Tac Toe Challenge #tttc145:  I chose the 1st column down: Snowman, White, Die Cut & the 2nd row across:  White, Embossing, Oval

Thanks for taking a look today…I hope you have a good week!

Take care,
