Cupcake Shaker Birthday Card

Cupcake Shaker Birthday Card - Rosanne Mulhern Heartfelt Stamping

Since deciding that as long as a stamp set is in my craft room it’s not really “retired”, I’m having a good time revisiting some old favorites.  Today’s card features one of those sets:  SU’s Sprinkles of Life.  I created a cute little shaker card with a cupcake inside.  The cupcake is lightly water colored with.  The sentiment is from the SU Treat Bag Dies.  I cut it twice in thick white cardstock and once in black to create the offset shadow. The striped paper is from the Sunny Studios Dots & Stripes Pastel 6 x 6 paper pad.

My inspiration for this card came from two challenges. I’m linking up to the Fusion Challenge…I went with both the sketch and the photo.  Both played so well together.

…As well as the Tic Tac Toe Challenge #tttc147.  I chose the middle row across:  Shaker, Purple or Pink, Word Die Cut

I hope your having a good week.  As always, thanks for stopping by today.

Take care,

Rosanne

Birds & Bees Friendship Card

Hello friends!  I decided it was time for a bit of spring here in mid-February.  This is the time of year I really start itching for warmer weather and longer days.  So I pulled out Honey Bee’s: Birds and the Bees stamps and dies to create this card to pass along a hint of Spring to a good friend.  The fun and flirty sentiment is from Mama Elephant’s: Paolo’s Wishes stamp set.

The Paper Players have a Theme Challenge this week…

I hope you week is going well!  Thanks for stopping by today.

Take care,

Cup(s) of Thanks

I spent a cold yet delightful morning creating a thank you card for a dear friend.  I still had Clearly Besotted’s, My Cup of Tea stamp set on my desk from a card I created last week.  I only used a sentiment then, so I decided I needed to ink up the cute little tea cups.  I stamped each one in Versa Mark on colored cardstock and heat embossed them with white embossing powder.  Since I don’t have a die for these cups, I needed to cut them the old-fashioned way…with scissors!

To create the subtle background, I used the Slimline Basket Petals stencil from Picket Fences and Shabby Shutters Distressed Oxide ink.

I’m playing along with Linda’s sketch at  Freshly Made Sketches 521

And at Just Us Girls Word Week #618

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Take care,

A Sweet Throwback for Valentine’s Day

Happy Saturday!  It’s a bright, beautiful, albeit freezing, day here in SE Pennsylvania.  Somehow the temperature doesn’t matter that much when the sun is shining.

I have another Valentine’s Day card to share today.  This is one of three that I made for my husband, but I decided it was a bit too cute and went with THIS ONE instead.  But honestly, it was too cute not to share.

Merry Kisses Valentine Card - Rosanne Mulhern Heartfelt Stamping

The adorable fox couple is from Neat & Tangled’s Merry Kisses stamp set.  It’s fun to use holiday stamps in ways not specifically intended.  I colored my couple with Copic markers.  The sentiment is from Hero Arts January 2020 Monthly Kit and the patterned paper is SU’s Tis’ the Season.  I finished it off with a few older SU heart embellishments.

I’m linking my card to the Retro Rubber Challenge #175

…And Festive Friday Challenge #FF0102

My card qualifies with: Red, Hearts, Cute

Thanks for take a look today.  I hope you have a wonderful rest of the weekend.

Take care,

Rosanne
