Feeling Welly, Welly Well – #TTTC134

Power Poppy Feeling Fall Get Well Card - Rosanne Mulhern

Hello! I hope you’re feeling welly, welly well today. You’ll get this pun as you read on about the card.

I’m playing along with the the Tic Tac Toe challenge again…

I chose the first column down:  ribbon, leaves, embossing

Isn’t this image great?  Once again, I used the Power Poppy set, Feeling Fall. I’ve had this set for a couple years but have used it more this year than ever.  It has all the “Fall feels”.  I stamped the image and heat embossed it.  Then I paper pieced the boot with a pretty plaid patterned paper.  I colored the leaves using copic markers.

The image and gold foil mat is cropped using Stampin’ Up!s Stitched Rectangle dies and adhered together.   I wrapped copper ribbon around the polka dot patterned paper (from my stash) before gluing it to the Very Vanilla card base.

Isn’t this sentiment fun?  I’ll be sending this card to a friend who is recuperating from surgery.  However, it could be used for many other occasions.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Take care,

Rosanne

Power Poppy’s Feeling Fall Halloween Card – PP561

Welcome! I’m sharing a Halloween card featuring an image from a favorite stamp set, Power Poppy’s Feeling Fall. I’ve had this set for several years and love to reach for it this time of year. Somehow it always feels new to me.

I created the layered layout using patterned paper from stash.  It’s been pretty eye-opening on how much I’ve been (hoarding) collecting.  It’s definitely time to start using it!

The image was stamped with Versa Fine Onyx Black ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. After coloring the image, I fussy cut it and glued it to the smaller panel.  The sentiment is also from a old set I purchased at Michael’s.  The sentiment is also heat embossed and fussy cut.

Again, I used a very retired Stampin’ Up! set, Monster Munchies, for the inside sentiment.

I’m entering this card in the Paper Players Theme Challenge

Thanks very much for stopping by today!

Spidery Halloween Wreath – #tttc133

Stampin Up Arrange a Wreath Halloween Card -Rosanne Mulhern

I have a few Halloween cards to share this week starting with this wreath crawling with sparkly spiders.

I’m playing along with the Tic Tac Toe Challenge

I chose the second row across:  black, stripes, wreath

I love wreaths…even paper wreaths sometimes especially paper wreaths!  This wreath is one I created to use on my monthly calendar.  However, it makes a wonderful card, too.

I used Stampin’ Up!’s (retired) Arrange a Wreath bundle to create the festive wreath. The spiders were cut from the Little Treat Box dies with black glitter paper.  The sentiment on the banner came from an old set I purchased from a local craft store.  I heat embossed it on Gorgeous Grape card stock.

The inside sentiment came from the September 2020 Hello Pumpkin Paper Pumpkin. I think the stamp sets in the Paper Pumpkin sets are such keepers.  I find myself reaching for them often. The shiny spider web paper is from my stash.

I’m not one to rush the holidays or seasons so now that October is here, I’m finally in a Halloween mood and will be back with another fun Halloween card later in the week.

Take care,

Rosanne

Penguin Playmates Friendship Card – PP560

Stampin Up Penguin Playmates Friendship Card - Rosanne Mulhern

I have a fun friendship card featuring the Penguin Playmates Designer Series paper to share today.  This paper is free with Sale-a-bration which ends today.  It has such fun patterns and these adorable winter critters.  The paper is certainly the star of the card!

My card inspiration came from the Paper Players Sketch Challenge this week…

The card is a mini slimline measuring 6″ x 3 1/2″.  I used the Layering Circles dies to create the windows.  I was originally going to create a shaker card with these windows but it looked too cluttered so I went with fussy cutting a few cute critters and put them behind the acetate windows.  I trimmed each window with some retired glitter paper.

The heat embossed sentiment is from the Penguin Place stamp set.

I’m not sure at my age that I have very many friends that I would call “cool” but I do have ONE in mind!

Thanks again for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful weekend.  My husband and I are going to Cape May, NJ for a few days to celebrate a BIG anniversary…40 years!

Take care,

Rosanne
