Pretty Pansies for the Paper Players Challenge – PP558

Stampin Up Pansy Patch Birthday Card Idea- Rosanne MulhernWelcome!  Today I’m sharing a card featuring the SU Pansy Patch bundle.  I used the Pansy Patch stamp set, the Pansy dies and the coordinating Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper.  My card inspiration came from the Paper Players PP558 Challenge.

Along with the challenge colors, I added Garden Green as the 4th color.

The card base is Blackberry Bliss card stock.  I layered it with the pretty loopy scalloped edged frame from Gina Marie Designs and a Blackberry Bliss panel.  The top white panel is stamped with a sentiment from the Pansy Patch stamp set in Blackberry Bliss ink.

The pansies were cut from white card stock.  They’re sponged with Rich Razzleberry and Polished Pink ink.  I also sponged some of the leaves with Garden Green ink while I cut others with Garden Green card stock.

I lined the envelope with a pattern from the Pansy Petals DSP using the long retired SU Envelope Liner dies.

Thanks for stopping by…have a wonderful weekend.

Take care,

CASEing Coast to Coast: Holiday Gate Fold

Stampin Up Frosted Gingerbread Fun Fold Holiday Card - Rosanne Mulhern

Welcome back to another cross country CASEing (Copy and Selectively Edit) trip with Karen Hallam in CA and myself, here in PA.  This month we are creating gate fold cards.

My holiday card features the Gingerbread & Peppermint Designer Series Paper along with dies from the Gingerbread Dies.

The card bases measure 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 2 1/8″ and 6 3/8″.  Each side panel is embellished with a mat of Old Olive card stock and a pattern from Gingerbread & Peppermint DSP.  The colorful snowflakes are also cut from the DSP using the Gingerbread dies. I cut snowflakes from heavy card stock and layered two on each snowflake to give them dimension.  These are glued to the left side panel.  The sentiment, from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set.  It’s heat embossed with black embossing powder and glued to the left side panel, as well.

The inside sentiment is from the Merriest Moments stamp set.

I embellished the envelope flap to coordinate with the card.

If you haven’t already done so, please take a trip across the country and check in on Karen’s creative take on the gate fold HERE.

As always, thanks for stopping by today.

Take care,

Rosanne

Clean & Simple Autumn Thank You – TTTC#130

Today I’m sharing a clean and simple autumn thank you card.  I’m also playing along with the Tic Tac Toe Challenge

I chose the second row across:  Die-Cuts, Leaves, CAS

Tic Tac Toe Challenge Thank You Card- Rosanne Mulhern

This card came together rather quickly.  After adhering a Cajun Craze mat to the Very Vanilla thick card base, I cut a large stitched rectangle from Very Vanilla card stock.  I then stamped the sentiment, from SU’s Ornate Thanks stamp set in Cajun Craze ink on the stitched rectangle.

Using leaf dies from Honey Bee Fall Bouquet dies, I cut three different leaves along the right side of the card.  I added a piece of patterned paper behind each of the leaves before gluing to the Cajun Craze panel.  Lastly, a few sequins added the finishing touch.

The inside is simply embellished with another leaf die cut and another sentiment from SU’s Ornate Thanks.

I created the same leaves on the envelope flap to coordinate with the card.

Thanks very much for checking in.  I hope you have a wonderful week.

Take care,

Rosanne

Thanks a Bushel – Paper Players Theme Challenge PP557

I’m playing along with the Paper Players theme challenge today.

It was a lot of fun coming up with a card featuring numbers…thanks, Leanne! Again, I dug into my long neglected stamp stash for today’s card and came up with a sweet little set…Lawn Fawn’s Thanks a Bushel. Here’s what I came up with…

Lawn Fawn Thanks a Bunch Thank You Card -Rosanne Mulhern

My numbers came from a piece of patterned paper from my stash.  I’m pretty sure it came from a 6 x 6 pad I purchased at Michael’s quite awhile ago.

Take care,

Rosanne
